We are fortunate to offer our pupils a range of educational trips and visits and they form an important part of the curriculum.
Outings may entail a short walk to a place of interest in the village or a longer trip to a museum or town. We also take older pupils on residential trips to outdoor activity centres like Glan Llyn, Nant BH and Pentrellyncymmer.
For the longer trips, parents will be asked to complete a consent form which not only informs you of our intention to take your child out of school, but also asks you to provide us with the authority to act on your behalf, in the extremely unlikely event of a medical emergency.
Parents are charged the full amount for the following:
- Any intentional damage to the school property by the child
- Any costs of residential visits arranged by the school or LEA (except when permission is given to be excluded from paying as per LEA remission policy)
- Activities held out of hours.
