Llandrillo Hub

The Llandrillo Hub centre building is a place where members of our school and our local community can meet up for events.

It is situated at the entrance to the infants site of Ysgol Llandrillo-Yn-Rhos and is surrounded by raised beds where children can grow vegetables and help look after our nearby chicken coop.

The centre is run by our family liaison officer Mrs Manda Austin.

Heart of the community

Darren Millar, Assembly Member for Clwyd West, cut the ribbon to open the Llandrillo Hub building at a special ceremony on Thursday, March 26 2015.
He said: “I was extremely impressed by this new facility at the school which will not only benefit pupils, but also the local community.

“I congratulate the school on developing this fantastic new addition to the school and commend Huw Jones of Ship Shape Landscapes for creating such a fantastic design. The hub is a fantastic asset to an already fantastic school and I am sure it will be enjoyed by all ages for many years to come.”

The building is being used for a wide variety of community purposes including coffee mornings, mother and toddler sessions and social gatherings.

The centre is run by Ysgol Llandrillo-Yn-Rhos Family Liaison Officer Mrs Manda Austin.
