We successfully completed the fifth phase of the Healthy School Scheme last year and we are currently working on the final phase. We promote a healthy lifestyle and try to instil this into our children. Children in the infants are able to take advantage of the free milk provided.
All pupils are allowed to bring a fruit snack for morning break, there is a fruit tuck shop in the juniors and pupils can bring up to 25p to purchase a piece of fruit. Snacks such as crisps and chocolate are not allowed. We hope you will help us to encourage our children to ‘prepare for a healthy future’.
The school meals are prepared on site and are served daily at a cost of £2.20 for both infants and juniors.
The school requires parents to pay for the whole week of school meals on each Monday. It is helpful if children bring the correct money in a named container or envelope.
Meals can be paid for by cheque made out to Conwy County Borough Council.
Parents of pupils with dietary requirements are requested to write to the Headteacher.
Application forms for the provision of free school meals are available from school or contact the Benefit office on 01492 576491.
To help busy families, children may take meals on an infrequent basis provided they are paid for in advance and those wishing to bring sandwiches are also catered for.
