My name is Paula Lawrenson, I was born in Colwyn Bay and I have lived here all my life. I live with my husband and daughter. I work as a Teaching Assistant in Ysgol Llandrillo Yn Rhos which I am very passionate about, I am also a supervisor for the Ysgol Llandrillo Yn Rhos After School Club. Ysgol Llandrillo Yn Rhos has always been a big part of my life with 3 generations of my family having attended. I have always been involved in the community and I am currently a leader in Brownies which I have been doing for the past 15 years. In my spare time I am a keen walker and involve myself in charity work. Last year my husband and I walked the Leeds to Liverpool canal (128 miles) for the Walton centre, we raised over £1500.
My name is Louise Bourne. I live in Rhos with my huband Neill and our three sons. I have been a primary school teacher for more than 20 years and have taught both infants and juniors. I currently work part-time in a school in Ruthin where I teach Reception. I love being involved in what goes on at Llandrillo and always try to attend meetings/information evenings to keep informed about what is happening. I have also enjoyed taking part in Parent Council activities, Together Time sessions and school trips. I feel that my experience as both a teacher and a mum helps me in my role and that being a Parent Governor is an exciting opportunity to become part of this excellent school

I’m a great believer in the next generation and passionate about seeing every child been given equal opportunities whatever their background or abilities. Every child has potential to go on and achieve their dreams
