James Lusted
My name is James Lusted, I’m married to Chloe who is a former pupil at Ysgol Llandrillo Yn Rhos. I was elected as a County Councillor in May 2017 for the Llandrillo Yn Rhos ward. I’m a member of Festival Church in Chester and actively involved on their team. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Disability Sport Wales. I’m an actor and TV presenter and have appeared in various programmes and stage productions professionally. I’m a keen sportsman and have competed nationally and internationally in Badminton and I had the honour of carrying the London 2012 Olympic Torch through Rhos on Sea. I like to watch sport, especially football, I support Liverpool FC. I’m a great believer in the next generation and passionate about seeing every child been given equal opportunities whatever their background or abilities. Every child has potential to go on and achieve their dreams
Gaynor Highcock
My name is Gaynor Highcock and I am the Head Teacher at Ysgol Llandrillo-Yn-Rhos. I have worked as a member of staff at the school since 1998. I have had experience teaching most year groups from Nursery to Year 6. I have enjoyed watching the school go from strength to strength and am delighted with the opportunities we are able to offer pupils.
